just started using a qd,and what an excellent unit it really is.it's dirt cheap, apps are abundant, batt life is superb, and its interface is wonderful.i'm not a nokia admirer as such....but this phone really is a cheap s60 god.anyone else use one,or had a play with one?come on,don't be shy.i adore uiq for its speed, but s60 aint in a bad league(hate the 6600 though)

it really is an excellent phone.apart from the lack of a camera, the phone is a go-go for those on a low budget.i own the p series,s7,t68i,t39,and have owned the k7 and 6600,and would thorjughly recommend the qd.its a cheap winner in my eyes.

The reason it is so cheap is because it was aimed at school students. But it is too costly a phone for them. And the ngage has stopped production. Moreover, any ngage can be played in s60. But yes, it is a very good low budget symbian phone.

My mate just bought one...its very good if you consider its functionality coz its s60 but then why leave a camera and get the wierd form factor and a outdated 4k screen when 6600 costs a bit more?!? Sure if someone's budge just refuses to expand then its a fair buy. One very good thing:hot swap mmc, One very bad thing:Just cant be operated with one hand. |

This phone is absolute value for money. Consider its features, multitasking, multiple website browsing, memory expansion, games, acceptable screen. All this at less than the price of the k500! It might not be a hit in those markets where people have more purchasing power. But in countries like ours, it gives more stuff for the money spent.

hey nut..it's jay...i joined this forum about two years ago under my other name jj03..when i had a t68i...but i cant remember my password lol..anyway...contrary to popular belief, the ngage is still in production but the numbers being produced have been lowered. the ngage is a excellent device for the price you pay..at my work place (cpw) were selling them for 89.00 with fifa 2005..like the 6600, which is a truly excellent smartphone, once you get to know the device, you'll be amazed what you can get it to do...i personally, have never owned one, but i have given one a good going over, and its a cracking smartphone...

He might have meant that the older one has ceased production!

No, it's people making fun of the fact you had to use the original N-gage on its side to talk.
I agree the QD is a great buy, a friend asked me for advice on sub 100 pound phones, and there is nothing that comes close to the QD.
