I'm getting fed up to see this old crap phone still being advertised on television, magazines and posters and still available in most shops here in South Africa. This 3310 is infact the most sold phone ever here. Its still on the market since 1995 or 1996 and it must discontinue or die now once and for all. 3330 must die too. Does this old 3310 still sell in your country?

What are you on about?? 1995-96 the 3310 didnīt even exist on the drawing board!
I do agree that everybody and their aunts and uncles has or had one, but letīs not over-exaggerate?

the 3310 has been out since begining of 2001, i remeber it was roughly then cause thats when i started eying Ericsson with the release of the t20.
I had to make the big decision, follow the crowd (3310) or go my own way (t20s).. Lets says I made the right decision...

I agree. It's strange that people still buy it.
The size, the weight, the battery...
It deserves it's place in mobile phone history though. |

The crap thing is that the t20 was more advanced in its day, and faded away merely a few years later (no more than 2002).
It had WAP which was its main advantage over 3310, but then again it didnt have snake or the option to pay 1 for a picture or ringtone... and to be quite honest if people buy phones for games and ringtones, it really says a lot about nokia buyers.

3310 is one of the best SERVING phones around. It does sms pretty well and is a work horse. You can treat it like Crap and still rely on it.

Now, it's like buying two phones for the price of one (weight-wise) |

Correction, its been around roughly since 2000. Alot of phones in the same class as 3310 were discontinued in the past and were better but this 3310 still lives.Whats so special about this 3310?

They were/are built to last!
You know that you can drop it without needing a new phone
Have they ever let anyone down?
