Havin problems installing drivers for my DSS25 |

Hey guys..I've been tryin to connect dss25 but when I try to install the drivers, windows cannot seem to find it via the hardware wizard nor the device manager. It's lookin for the usb<-> serial driver and when i direct it to the folder where I unzipped the drivers(taken from se site) it says it's unable to locate a driver for this device. Any suggestions on what I'm doin wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

does your dss comes w/ a cd? get the driver from the cd.

actually I just borrowed the thing and got the drivers at the se site.
I'll just get the cd then try again. thanks man! appreciate it! |

if you got the driver at the se site, it's the latest...
after downloading from site, unzip.. then plug the dss... it will prompt for the driver... let it seach the DSS folder

I downloaded the driver from FTDI homepage and then the installation went OK
