A South African doctor has developed a pill bottle that uses cellphone technology to remind patients to take their medicines and warns them if they are about to take an extra dose by mistake.

People that need these reminder are usually "Older" and might not grasp the concept.
If it weren't for bad lucks, I would have no lucks at all.

There's also this new talking pill bottle just introduced, which gets loaded up with drugs and programmed with its dosage and scheduling information at the pharmacy.

Click to hear sample Talking Pill Bottle audio

When it's time to take one or more pills, the consumer simply presses a built-in button at the bottom of each "talking" container to hear the message and locate the desired medication and instructions for use. The voice labeling system in "Rex" accepts all spoken languages making this a multilingual product as well.
