These .hid files are preinstalled on your phone. I think people we're downloading them because they've deleted/lost them from the phone. I could be wrong but every k700 and s700 I've seen have the remote control applications installed. |

.hid stands for 'human interface device' people will be downloading extra hid's as there are more than just the pre-installed ones available, for example, realplayer, iexplorer etc.
