I guess that it's the same, xhtml is just html ( it's becoming a standard ) so any modern browser can show/read.
What you mean by webviewer actually ? |

xHTML is WAP 2.0, sometimes reffered as HTML lite. Webviewer is a Full HTML browser.

I still disagree over the assertion that HTML Lite is WAP. WML (http://wap.esato.com/board/wap.php) & xHTML (http://wap.esato.com/board/xhtml.php) are both WAP standards. HTML Lite (http:/.mobile.esato.com)is a no-frills version of the regular esato web forum designed for easier access on mobile devices. Yes, phones with xHTML browsers can load some simple Web pages like HTML Lite's pages.

xhtml browsers tho capable of openin html pages sometimes fail coz the data is too much( the new se phones like kxxx,s700 etc can pretty much open all pure html pages) however webviewer reformats the html pages to meet the phone's memory and screen size requirements better. |
