Hi people, just wondering where to download a theme editor/creator for K700i and be able to use in Windows 98 SE. I know i'm still being obsolete using win98 but the one from Developer Sony Ericsson website requires Win XP to be able to use the application. Thanks for your help!

Try myThemeCreator from the following thread:

It's Java-based so you may be able to get it running on your 7 year old operating system!

Thanks JoolsG4...and btw i still prefer my 7 year old system rather than get bogged down by spywares, adwares, viruses and other security vulnerabilities using Windows XP...
My two cents opinion... |

Did the theme creator work? I guess, that's the only drawback to using an old OS, more recent software often doesn't work..
However, its very easy to use the very latest operating system without getting "bogged down by spywares, adwares, viruses and other security vulnerabilities"!
Just use a Mac with Mac OS X 10.3.7!

Well, it would for avoiding viruses, trojans, malware and spyware because currently there isn't a single one of these nasties that can affect Mac OS X. It's immune to all Windows viruses etc. And the OS itself is just built to be far more secure than Windows.

Of course it's built to be more secure - OS X is basically a version of Linux with a lot of emphasis on the GUI.
I think anyone who's of the opinion that you can't use a new operating system (Windows XP) because of spyware and adware is just not computer-literate enough to be able to do so. Windows XP is more stable, faster, more usable and more compatible than Windows 98 - no blue screens or crashes any more for me. If you stay with Windows 98 for no other reason than that you think your PC is going to die because of Windows XP, you need to start thinking outside the box. |
