Hey people,
Not being lazy, but is there a program for PC or program for k700i that will enable me to copy the wap and internet settings etc from the k700i to the pc? as a backup? Ive tried loadsa programs but most of them like fma etc just backup phonebook profiles, messages etc.
I hope someone can help!
THANKS

Sorry, i'm not aware of one. backing up your internet settings is not essential tho as you can get them sent from (support section on website) via a text message or speak to your service provider who txt them to you.
The site ask for your service provider, you type in your number and thats that. Wap settings and mms and email if you require them to your phone.

Er....Why do you want to do this? Doesn't your operator send their settings via text messages?

Ino theyre easy to get hold of usually, but this is an orange phone and has 5 different internet profiles. And only GPRS and MMS are available to download. Orange dont let you send the settings from their website and i cant phone them up cos its not my phone and not my number!
I just wanted an easy way to back things up.
Anyway I gave up and formatted the phone, installed the new decent software; instead of the crappy orange one. And i managed to get two of the settings and gave the phone back, but its not my problem

Ok dude....five internet profiles ? anyway, if you had mentioned orange or that it wasn't your phone ,but borrowed, i wouldn't have suggested speaking to your service provider just that you go straight to as you could've download settings from the site for wap,mms for orange and also an email configerator.
Has anything been said about you installing new firmware on the phone ?

no i was asked to get rid of the orange firmware. Cos i have a k700 and they preferred the original firmware and not the orange one which was on theirs. also their battery lasted about a day, now it lasts over 3 and theyre happy!
Thanks for all your suggestions people!!
Thanks
