Harmless radiation cell phones for babies with unique features, will hit the Indian market in the next few months.
G-Hanz, GmbH Germany's leading consumer electronics company, will launch the unique product which will enable the parents to keep a close watch on their wards and it would be in the market by June end, the company's Chief Executive Officer U K Ghosh disclosed to newspersons here today. He was speaking at the India launch of what is claimed to be ''the world's first state of the art cell phone with harmless radiation''.
The product, which is likely to be priced at Rs 5,900, will enable the parents to know the location of the child. It will have facility to send an automatic SMS, cellphone and e-mail in the event of the child crossing the defined boundaries. Also, it would have facility to call select ten numbers, thereby cutting on the possible misuse of the mobile phone.
He said the company was expecting a huge market for the product as the ones in the market were considered harmful to children. In developed countries, children were being discouraged to use mobile phones, he claimed quoting media reports.
G-Hanz uses the technology developed by EMX Corporation. The biochip technology of the EMX is designed to block harmful radiation by superimposing a random noise field, the company has claimed.
