has anybody able to get a k700i to work with a carkit,upgrade software to latest yesterday,cant see any changes,thanks

got a new nokia ck 7w bluetooth carkit, the phone will pair ok,but sometimes when i go and make a call or a call comes in the bluetooth connection goes

I guess you have to get in touch with Nokia. The K700i works with the car kits. Although, the older firmware of the K7 has its quirks, newer versions are working fine.

Do you use a headset or some other device that might be causing a conflict? With my handsfree kit, the thing locks on and won't let go.

Before your post was edited, you said that you were using it with a Nokia car kit. Then it doesn't matter if you already have the latest firmware for your K700, cause your problem lies with your Nokia car kit.

Like I said in my pevious post, get in touch with them.

I know several people who are using the K700 with a car kits and we don't have any problems with it.
