@whiz : Dude, you sure that there isn't any time out for the connection?

@whizkidd: That option should be somewhere under "Edit Active Settings" or something like that. Incidentally, I had similar problems with my kid brother's 6800 - and I know I had the settings right.

Forget it whiz, it is a common brick problem. Did you try to use html lite? How about loging in thru that?

@govigov: He didnt say "logging in" or "loging out". He said "disconnected". I think he is talking about the internet/WAP connectivity. On the 6800 I had this same experience, the GPRS connection would break ever so often, & I would have to re-connect each time.

I meant to forget about that problem. I'm asking him to use html lite, since it is a change from his t230. Also i did like to know if he can keep logged in or gets thrown out.

@whizkidd is it GPRS or a CSD connection? If GPRS go to Tools - Settings - Connection - Acces points - [click the APN that you use], scroll down and se the 'session mode' to Permanent instead Temporary. If you use a CSD connection go to Data Calls (in the same connection settings menu)

@aff: Not likely. In my case, my P800 with relatively poorer RF performance than the 6800 stayed connected, same network, same spot, same period of time.
