Now, ive already had the content control removed, bt this morning i couldnt access esato via html lite, or yahoo, or google, or any other site for that matter, every time i try, the \"content control\" screen appears! I can access esato through wap and thats it...i phoned them up, they dont have a clue whats up. Its really frustrating, any ideas?

hello my friend... all they need to do is to place the bar back on the account and then remove it again. it happens often an this is the best way to fix it.

Hope this helps.

its just to cover ourselves legally... if we go removing the bars willy nilly then we could get in deep shit if a kid was to phone up to get it removed on daddys phone and then use it to look at porn or something.

Again VODA is the only network to offer this service and i think its superb coz it offers parents a control method to limit their kids access to certain sites.

U could always go into a store with id and they will remove it free of charge... no stuid £1 credit card charge.

Yeah but it would be good if it worked, i removed it ages ago, then the other day it crippled ALL internet services. I phone up, get it sorted, then 3 hours later i got a text from vodafone saying "unable to lift content control" with no explanation? if they are going to implement it - its not a legal requirement at all - surley they should get it right? Im normally very happy with my service from vodafone, in fact im one of the few around here to defend them, but this is a little annoying.
