I did some searches and after spending an hour reading the search results for BT200 and BT250 I decided to post a new topic. The purpose of this topic is to share my experience with people who are having similar issues and also see if anyone has come up with a solution.
Now to the issue:
I start hearing cracking noises on my headset (BT250) after moving the phone (T637) and headset more than about a meter (3 feet) away. For example when the phone is in my pocket and I'm sitting down (both on the same side of my body) everything is fine, as soon as I get up to walk, cracking noises start. I sent the headset to Jabra for a warranty repair and after getting it back the problem still persists.
I did two experiments:
1- Tested my phone with a Motorola HS810 headset and not only the sound is fine when the phone is in my pocket (standing up) it goes much further without any cracking noise, about 8 meters.
2- Tested the BT250 headset with my computer connected to a TDK usb dongle. Again no cracking noise up to about 5 meters.
My conclusion is that there is something about the combination of BT250 and T637 that causes this problems.
Any comments? Solutions?
For completeness, I have firmware R3A027. And have paired BT250 in normal mode.

I have the same problem with my BT250 and T610. I have noticed that pairing it with the Handsfree instead of Headset I can get another meter or 2 sometimes. Have you been able to get "Caller Names" to work? I can get "voice dialing" to work fine but when someone calls me I do not hear thier name in the BT250, just a ringing sound. | |
