Suddenly for know reason my t68 tells me i have an alien battery

does anyone have any ideas ???

It's puzzelling me???

Last night your phone was abducted, probed, and received some sort of new alien battery.


I have no clue, really, try rebooting your phone and see what happens, take out the battery and put it back in, or do a hard reboot by holding down the NO button for 10 seconds. You could also try doing a master reset...

If all else fails, I suppose take it to your nearest service station.

Thanks for the help - it may seem like an x-file but it was simple

I used phonebackup and did a master reset and well it worked ???

not sure why it would want to think my battery was "alien"

'Alien Battery' means that the battery is a 3rd party battery (not a genuine ericsson), or being mistaken for one.

My old T28 use to do that all the time, which was extremely annoying as it meant that the battery was charged slower.
