Are there any changes done is the html light version of wap? Because the buttons(4 of them, \"profile, pm, quote, edit post\") seem different now.

I think it is good. In the earlier type, the blue box seem to go out to the right. Now it is ok. But looks much more basic. :-(

I had noticed they look different somehow on HTML Light but now I cant remember how it looked before but it's definitely different.
BTW it is a light (lesser) version of the HTML page NOT of the piddling WAP page

Remember a blue box after one's post. That is gone. :-( instead a single line differentiate the posts.

HTML lite is not WAP. Its a cut-down version of the regular esato website.

Edit: Honestly, I do not notice any difference, but that may be because I do not remember what it looked like in details

has anyone else noticed a new bug?
lets say a thread has 50 pages. if i go into the thread and click on goto page 49 i read that then click on page 50, page 49 on the goto page should stay red to show its been read but this doesnt always happen. it works on the goto page at the bottom of the page but the top does not match. its makes things harder when you go back into a thread because upto page 48 will be red so you end up reading 49 again unless you remember to go to the bottom of the page.
i dont think its a cookie problem just that the top and bottom goto pages are not properly linked like they were before. |

@clank: HTML Lite is NOT WAP. xHTML-enabled browsers are able to view simple HTML pages. That's all to it. HTML Lite is exactly what it says: a light HTML (Web) format. HTML is Web. Am I sounding like a broken record here? :-D

xhtml browsers can view web pages and thats why the html light version is for handhelds...read at the bottom of page if you are on pc...it says forum light for handhelds and gives the addy. Handhelds should ideally apply to pdas tho but nowadays mobiles aint far so i believe its meant for wap users with xhtml browsers |
