Nokia 6260 battery life |

Hi, have been checking out this forum for a while. Really informative stuff here. Just wanted to post a prob that i could not find answers to even by searching. My girlfriend just got a 6260 second hand. Thing is, the battery life is horrendous. It dies by the end of the day wit minimal use. She only uses it to make a few calls and that's all. I know the batt is weak but this is terrible. Its really driving us nuts. Is there any way you guys know to counter this? Btw the phone is not very old. Does anyone know the normal battery life of a new 6260 btw? I heard of this method where you get an old nokia charger and charge the batt wit it. Apparently it provides more power but i'm not sure if its safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My brother just got a new 6260 for Christmas, I should see him over the weekend, I'll ask him how he's finding the batterylife.

Its normal. I have this phone. And it lives half a day with messing around. Its smartphone. Its os eats battery.
