Which of these mobiles do you think, will be remembered for creating a turning point in mobile phone history

1) /// R380
2) Nokia Communicator 9210i
3) T68(m/i etc.)
4) Nokia 7650
5) P800

or, any mobile that in your opinion was the one.

I think its the P800.

7650 methinks. It proved that phones can be something more than phones and look like if they aren't

inmho i think the Nokia 9000 Communicator was a turning point. It was THE first fone to incorperate PDA style features in a phone. YES it was huge but at that point people were only starting to use SMS let alone pda features on a fone!!!

It lead the way to all smartphones so it is a champion among champions... A true leader at its launch.

It may not have all the posh features but as i said above remember wen it was launched SMS was still in its infancy in the UK.

such as useless phone,

thats paved the way for things like the xelbris, V80, SL55 etc.

Probably the nokia 3210, at the time it had radical looks, it was smaller, no external aerial, ease of use, when phones were bulky, ugly, ungainly, hernia-inducingly hard to use things.

hmmm... Well I had selected the p800, because, In my opinion, It was the FIRST phone to have what every modern phone has: Touch Screen, Full Internet, GPRS, Full Colour Screen, MP3 and video playback, Symbion OS, External Memory, Camera, and the list goes on and on. It was the first technical marvel to do everything.

Me too thinks 3210. It was definitely easy to use. But heavy. You cant call it bulky.

It would be difficult to point at one phone, because there are different categories of phones. In smartphone category, it has to be the P800. It gave everyone a glimpse into what future smartphones could be & do. IMHO, most of today's symbian, windows & linux PDA-phones all came from that line. Nokia's communicators? Hardly anyone else but Nokia is going in that direction.

Well I'm surprised that no one has said 'T68i' as yet, , Even more surprising, so far its a tie between a 3210 and 7650, both N0ki@'s. Very un-esatoish
