according to the SE site the phone has gotten a speakerphone. and thats about it. nothing diffirent.

I never really paid much attention to this model (being a basic phone with not many features) but I must say it’s a pretty nice looking phone, mite even consider buying one for a second handset!

Not many features? How about wap, gprs, mms, optional cam (640*480!) Email client, Amr as ringtones, 1.1mb memory, the list goes on..... what more should we expect from a low end phone! :-D

The old 230 was and still is a good budget phone you can get it real cheap now but the 290 looks cool in black
