the question would b incomplete without providing Motorola as an option. New range of Motorola phones use displays from SHARP which r the best in the business. the only competition to those are the s700 and k700.

Depends on resolution doesn't it? 65k or 256k
S700 is great, although don't know what other phones have same resolution to compare.

Sharp certainly do make great screen and I have been impressed since the first GX-10 that vodafone sent me by accident.
However, I have always been impressed with the transflective TFT screens used on my iPAQs and was pleased to find that my i-mate JAM uses the same and it offers great visibility indoors and out

I suggest beaming a pic to both phones. Then view the very same pic, so you could see for yourself if one is better the other.

The 6600 has a resolution of 176*208 and the K700 has 176*220. So the K700 screen should be slightly better. But not much difference i think.

I think I prefer the k700 to the nokia 6600 screen. The k7 seems sharper and would seen to give a better refresh speed. |

Imo samsung's has the best screen in the market. The d410 and d500 is excellent. But in your case, in my view, k700 is better because they have smaller pixels than 6600.

samsung don't have the best. D410 you are refering can't beat the S700.
D500 i'm ignoring this model, i just read what people think about it and laugh at all those little problems most people miss before they buy it.
i must agree that sharp makes the best screens. they look very impressive. altough i heard that the SO506IS tends to look even better then the S700. so SE could be holding back on us
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

@fatreg: That is correct, the screen inside the 9500 is roughly the same size as the p9x0 screen and with twice the number of pixels. Its definitely sharper.
