Call for Beta Test Participants
Please respond no later than July 11th, 2002.
Centercode is looking for people to test a new and innovative communications
product designed for operation with the GPRS network.
GPRS is a new high speed wireless protocol for data communications through a
mobile phone. GPRS is growing in popularity around the world
and this unique test opportunity utilizes this network to improve
communication.
Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:
*Be subscribe to wireless provider who offers GPRS service.
*Own or have previously owned a smart phone or PDA.
*Be heavy email users who:
-Send approximately 20 messages a day
-Receive approximately 20 messages a day
-Have an ISP account with PPP dialup with a POP and/or IMAP account used
for the above messages.
*The candidate generally carry and user their PDA and phone with them 80% of
the time. They also have an immensely strong desire to be connected all the
time.
*The candidate should be located in various coverage locations including
good/strong, heavy traffic, medium, and fringe/outlying coverage areas. In
addition, some participants should frequently travel within a
state/country/region to monitor how if services may drop and reconnect
*The beta users should be moderate users of SMS and or WAP.
*Have a personal computer with a USB and/or Serial port
*Live in the United Kingdom
*Be willing to dedicate as much as 10-15 hours a week to the testing
*Be willing to report their progress with the test on a daily basis
*Be willing to complete a non-disclosure agreement and provide
detailed information about their computer systems
*Be willing to complete surveys about their participation in the test and
the product being tested
Additionally, we are interested in finding people with these qualifications:
*Some users should be using Windows NT (Version 4.0)
*Some users should be using Mac OS X
*Some of the users should be using Bluetooth or other two piece solution.

Payment is not really an option. This is a beta test and we have only a limited number of available slots.

Unfortunately, our customer dictates what market this product is supposed to be tested in.
