There is a smartphone with FM Radio - Nokia 7710, quite a brilliant phone with more features than p910 but at a lower cost

The original N gage come with radio and you can record musics directly from radio to mmc card. It is a symbian 60 phone. |

The reason is the same thinking behind not putting the best quality cameras in smartphones: They are aimed at business users, why waste space fitting a radio when your target consumer demographic wont be usingi it?

Guys the 7710 might have a radio and EDGE but it has no IR (which is still used a lot by devices) and look at the size and weight of the thing (for me even the p900 is too big to lug around). Even with the added size and battery rating for the 7710 it still gets only the half the standby time. So I wouldn't go around calling a better phone by any means. |

@boba: I prefer to have the radio built-in & functioning with a loudspeaker. @ abudinsz: Really depends on what you need. It is extremely convenient for me carrying around even any of the Nokia 9xxx communicator series considering the amount of work I get done on the move.
