As we all know, you can get the V800 unbranded from Switzerland.
So after some searching I found this link with links in it to selling sites.
around 300 pounds is the cheapest sim-free.

That's probably because switzerland selled unlocked phones..... not unbranded ones

hmm sorry, I should have been clearer.
It will have the Vodafone LIVE content but not the branding on the casing.
Voda-swiss doesnt have the rights to brand the phone in Switzerland.

I've got one of these and they rock. To be precise:
1. They have have no casing branding
2. Yes, voda content (but you can specify any location the standby-voda-button links to, even local locations [ = will not cost you anything] by playing with the settings
3. All phones are sim unlocked. At least mine is and I got it directly from Swisscom, so no reason that anybody else would impose a lock.
