I have a small program that may "unprotect" the mmf files. If anyone wants to test it they are welcome to. Give me your email and i will send it.

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

mmf or midi for that matter cannot be converted to music formats like mp3,wav etc coz they are not real music...just intructions for playing a set of predefined instruments...as you may have seen if you have musicdj on se phones which lets you create tones usin 4 instruments.

I disagree, midi to wav is very easy since software MIDI generators are very common nowadays and many software has that feature, in fact some of my ringtones are from midi and I converted them to wav then to mp3 for my k700i. Wav to midi however is a totally different story.

mmf on the other hand is different. midi or a very short wav can be converted to mmf but I haven't seen any application that can do it the other way around.
resistance is futile.

Agreed with black spot. Wav to mid convertion is difficult. I got a ring tone convertor that converts wav to mid. There is something to do with channels which is very difficult to get right.
