Only experience I've had with K700 games is the tennis game which comes loaded on the phone. Nice game.

Yes blocky, with jagged edges. Although it doesn't tend to annoy you since the gameplay and response is smooth. Very few signs of lag for a mobile phone belting out graphics like those in the 3D tennis game and Splinter Cell

How does K700i's 3D graphics compares to N-Gage's 3D graphics?

I read somewhere that the K700 has a 16 bit screen. True?

4k screens are 12bit,65k screens are 16bit,262k screens are 18bit etc...no of colors are basically 2 raised to the power of x where x is in bits, so 2 raised to 12 is 4096 and similarly the nomenclature is derived. As for the no of colors, java app dont support many colors(eg 2d java games support a max of 255 colors) but i dont think there is a limit for 3d apps so perhaps they can run in 16 or 18bit modes if the programmer desires tho i dont think the video ram of phone would permit that. The antialiasing(smoothnin of edges) effect is minimal at this stage in the games like speed chaser 3d(i love this game),splinter cell 3d,3d snowboardin and graphical glitches are also also observed but super real tennis is a true example of micro 3d's power...it doesnt have much of the jagged edges+i dont see any graphical glitches as well so its quite a powerful engine. Compared to ngage qd it still falls short tho(those games are very very good)...also coupled with the fact that big titles like ea sports and activision are supportin the ngage, that makes it a formidable mobile gamin device. |

Thanks clank for that useful info. I'm trying to figure how your example works: 2 raised to 12 = 4096 colors , is it 12 x 2 or 12 x 12 ?that doesnt sound right, could you please explain the formula? Thanks
