I'm not sure if it's been discussed on this forum or if it was another one, but thought I would ask anyway. This summer I will be going to England most likely for 3 weeks, and I don't feel like paying for roaming with my current provider T-Mobile. Where would be the cheapest place to buy a pay as you go sim, at the airport or a shop in town? Also, what provider would you guys recommend? Thanks...

HI Mr Maimobe,

I would recommend you buy a Virgin Pay As You Go sim card. All in all, it's the cheapest PAYG service, and you can buy a sim card for around £10. I suggest purchasing from a mobile shop such as Carphone Warehouse, where you can get them to explain the charges and procedures for adding credit when you need it.

The most important thing to remember for your trip however is....bring an umbrella!
