Have you tried playing the MP3's with media player.

There is one thing that you can do. Do you have a CD writter. If you do burn the MP3's onto a CD and then try and play it on your computer.

In Winamp make sure you don't have any of the Inputs or output turn on. That's in options then Preferences.

Hope that helps

This is actually 2 programs in one I found, and uploaded to my website, for you all to use. It is nice, because you just pick out the MP3s you want to put on your MMC card, and you have the option of decoding what you have on your hard drive/CD-ROM to a lesser bitrate (i.e.128kb to 64kb), therefore compresseing the file quite a bit, and allowing up to 2 hours with decent sound (64kbs) on a 64MB mmc card.

www.jeffharris.com/lame.zip

Unzip it to a directory, and run the razorlame.exe file. It is the Windows front end for the included "Lame" program. Play wiht the Lame Option settings.

Works nice!

You can't "downcode" the bit rate from MP3 to MP3 with Nero. Nero is strictly a CD-ROM burning program. The program I mentioned above has nothing to do with burning. It only has to do with copying MP3s you already have directly to your MMC card, with the option of compressing further, for more playing time.

This was the question I was answering.

I use Nero to burn MP3's to CD (www.nero.com). Much more reliable than Roxio CD-Creator
