Was planning to buy a FM-radio for my T68 next week...

Have some questions for you who already own the HPR-11, comments appreciated;

-Is the sound quality good/ok/average?
-Is the reception good?
-Is the sound in Stereo?
-Can you exchange the headphones with your own? (if not, how is the headphones?)
-How do you change volume/radio-station?(Nobs on the unit, or in menus on the phone?)
-Can you store stations, or new search every time?

Thanx in advance,

Snottra;

Fast and in-depth answer, thanx a bunch!

That sounds like a ok product, although I would have perferred a FM-radio with headset capabilities instead of Headset with FM-capabilities (which seems to be the case).

While we are at it, how is the size?
-Does it make the T68 alot bigger in your pocket and does the design feel 'matched' with the phone?

Thanx again,

I was going to get one today and I would have been able to answer some questions about it for you lot.

But the place where I was going to get has sold out.

I would really appreciate a size-measurement from an owner of the FM-kit, to get a hint about what the phone will feel like with it connected. Looked all over the net without any results...

(In centimeters; width and lenght)

I got the best deals from the Cingular Retail Stores. The DRS-10 data cable and the FM Radio was $20. The MP3 player was $99

I have the MP3 Player which I really like with good some quality,

But I really want the FM radio. I'm going to order one from a web-site rather than going to a shop..

Well, well, well Ollie!

Tried to install the Windows 2000 drivers you linked to, and it completely fucked up my Windows XP! Lucky Microsoft has an System Restore feature!

Anybody who knows were I can find stable Windows XP drivers to the Parallell port MMC adapter....????

There isn't support for XP yet, but it will work in XP. XP will see it as a removable drive and only drag and drop will work.

It's not that big, about the same size as the mp3 player. 2 inch maybe

I, a recent Ericsson user (Nokia fan), bought the MP3 player at a nice one off price of just under £30.

A handy tool to have although a few noticable flaws:

* you can't use the phone's functions when listening to music (unless i'm doing something wrong)

* the real slowness of the supplied adapter.
Anyone know where I can get a cheap USB MMC reader/writer?

* although the music pauses when a call comes in, there is no such thing when you receive a text message

In general, a nice piece of equipment!
