How good is the quality of K700i videos when recording off tv screens? Is it blurry?

In my experience, not blurry but the brightness from the TV screen makes the images not so good - usually too bright and washed out. In most cases you will also get that horizontal banding in the images from the TV's horizontal scanning.
resistance is futile.

The quality is actually better but the banding is still very prominent. It also depends on the scanning rate of your monitor.
resistance is futile.

I have a 100 hz tv and the banding is not visible. I just set the aspect to 4:3 and record what i wish. Quality isn't too bad.

Does the new firmware on the K700i not resolve this ?
the camera driver vers (3.9)of the phone is set to 50hz, but the new driver version of (3.10) has been changed to automatic ?

I havnt got the new firmware yet my self, but when i was in america the lines were alot more noticable than back in the uk. this is becuase the UK runs on 50hz and US runs at 60hz.

Thanks

Hmmm that explains while the band is moving. Interference. If you tilt the phone in the z axis, banding is very minimal.

This would be a great improvement. I also notice this similar banding problem happening when I'm taking pictures under a bad flourescent light.
resistance is futile.

Try taking a picture of the TV or computer screen with a cam, you can see black bands move vertically across the screen, this is due to lower refresh rates but the black bands are not visible to the naked eye
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!
