Sending imy file to T68 results in Obex Header Failed |
zomig Joined: Jul 06, 2002 Posts: 3 PM |
I have a T68, I am trying to send IMY files to the phone using the r2.exe software and a DATA cable, I can send backgrounds no problem at all, it is just the ringtones that is causing problems, whenever i try to send the imy file it always comes back with the following
"T68,Cellnet is connected
[R2A013 CXC125399] #
OBEX connect: succeeded!
Beginning to Send file...
Obex Header failed. Phone might not support FileType.
OBEX disconnected successfully"
Can anybody tell me why this is happening....
Many thanks
zomig

Only t68i (and t68m i-mified) supports imy. If you have the normal t68m you can only use emy ringtones.

Use any of the following software: mypicturesr2e, sendfile, or Float's mobile agent.

hi
I have the correct mpm software installed as the backgrounds work no problem.
I have tried both the r2e and send file to see if it works and the r2e gives the obex header mesage, the send file says it has sent but you cannot find it on the phone...
How do i know if the phone is a t68m ?
Many thanks for your help..
cheers

I've encountered the same problem. and it's solved now.
you need to upgrade the firmware up to r5 in your t68.(mine is R7A)
the former version firmwares do not support imy ringtones, and lots of file formats.
you can check your t68 firmware version by >*<<*<* 1 1
