these have been around for years. Olympus had their eyetrek and Sony had something too but they were quite expensive, 300-500 pounds as I recall

Yes masseur but this isn't the same as the Sony or Olympus version..those were just connected to a any video source. The Icuiti V920 is purely a mobile 3G device and is used to view 3G content via your mobile. [addsig]

presumably its only the input thats different, the concept seems fairly similar

no indications of price because that will be a big factor in how well they are accepted and thats the reason I didn't get those others though I could quite see myself sitting on the plane on my regular flights to/from Oz in those days watching my portable DVD player on glasses like this

just remembered, we're the sony ones called glasstron or something similar?

Yes absolutely the concept is very much the same but I think the eyewear viewing glasses technology may have moved on a bit since the sony and olympus versions...don't know how good those were as i have never owned one.But i presume due to the technology now being more widespread the prices may have fallen now somewhat.

I did try the Sony ones up tottenham court road, very cool.

will watch out for these, since I am a gadget freak

they look alot more compact too
