bought a wallpaper, screensaver or poly (java games not included) using wap services like voda live, T-Zones or orange world.
i know its not a great amount of money but it does seem a bit silly when there is the internet for free

I totally agree I cannot believe the amount of money people pay for midi ringtones, Java games etc when they are simply available of the standard internet for free.

If you come to think of it, you're paying for the internet connection too, I think it's practically the same.
Edit: Not to mention the power you use for the computer, time it takes to find, download and transfer to your phone. It's a matter of paying for the convenience IMO.

one wallpaper for 3 pounds thats way too much, my internet connection just costs me 6 pounds per month, unlimited

Never never never.
Better create them by myself or edit any available wallpapers, themes, screensaver or music.
That's it.
It's not worth to pay for them.

never bought a ringtone, wallpaper, theme or program for any of my phones. Right now I only have freeware on my P910 and I'd prefer to make my own ringtones and themes. Can't see paying for things when I enjoy making them myself or i can get them for free. |
