T68 -> T68i possible in North America / Canada? |

I just spoke to an ericsson rep who told me the T68i upgrade isn't available in Canada / North American but it is in europe. The only place that does the upgrades around Toronto is the Rogers/ATT 'Wireless Service Center' at 30 Victoria Circle, Brampton, Ontario. (905) 459-5522. I called them as well and they told me the latest software they have is R2D (This is not MMS, is it?) They also said that MMS isn't available here. Does anyone know of any other way to get my phone upgraded? (I'm not too fond of shipping my phone overseas and not seeing it for a few weeks or possibly ever again  ) Or if an upgrade will be available in North America? Any help / information would be greatly appreciated,

I too called SonyEricsson and they said they will NOT be offering T68-->T68i upgrade in the US or Canada, but they will in Europe. She also said if i were to ship it to europe, it would be missing out on some features when it came back to me. Can anyone here in the U.S. upgrade the phone for me? How much? How long? I live in Bethesda, MD.

i know a guy in Canada and in the US who does unlocking and upgrading of T68m to i.
