Good luck!

I've bought watches from Ebay and I have no complaints. It really depends on the seller and your agreed price.

I have bought stuff off ebay.com. And recently, sold and bought off ebay.ph. Ok naman.
It's really a risk buying from unknown selllers. So best to have as much personal information about the seller. I am not sure if ratings can be hacked.
I personally like to ask a lot of technical questions just to test the person's familiarity with the product. This blows off most unprepared scammers.
It is really a lot safer to transact with Paypal. Sadly, the Philippines is not included in Paypal. Hope that changes with Ebay's acquisition of Paypal.
For selling, it is easier. No money, no shipment. There is a Western Union scam going around. Not a fault of Western Union but the email is so authentic looking, some people will fall for it. Like my sister. Duh. Again, if you follow the simple rule of no money, no shipment, this shouldn't be a problem. |

I've bought a few stuff from ebay.com when I was in the US a year ago. Like everybody here has been saying it all depends on the feedback of the seller, it'll certainly help if you take a look particularly at there negative feedbacks (that is if they have one) w/c will help you decide how reputable the seller really is. There are 2 things you should consider before buying from ebay.ph
1) Laws here and in the US is very different, you can easily be scammed.
2) As of now ebay.ph doesn't have Paypal as a method of payment, personally that is a big NO for me when acquiring things online. |
