hi.

i have a few .jar files that are winzipped. but when in unzip them, i get a bunch of files that i cannot send to my phone via infrared.

how can i get around this?

You have to send the .jar to the phone as it is without unzipping. Which phone are u using ?

when i try sending the file as is (unopened) i am told that its an invalid file as its still zipped

Does the file have a .jar extension ?

Not all games work on all phones, you may need to get java games which work on the t630

heres an example:

i see joe.jar which i click on to download. BUT the file is a winzip file. i unzip the files and what imleft with is a bunch of files, instead of one whole jar file.

make sure your system displays all file extensions.
goto the file explorer, select 'folder options' from the 'tools' or 'view' menu.

next go to the 'view' tab and and in the 'advanced settings' list box, uncheck the option 'Hide file extensions for known file types' click Ok.

Now check your file, it should have only a .jar extension, not a .jar.zip extension

AHA! did it. i just renamed the file as a .jar not .zip.
