T68 on Orange (uk) |

I bought my T68 on the first day it was released in London. Great phone! I would like to know what other users of the T68 on the Orange network think about the performance/problems. I really dislike the SMS features as well as the unreliable GPRS.
Still finding it difficult to access Email, however.. this may be just an Orange problem

I bought it as an upgrade from the Orange Shop. The only problem I have with SMS is that it's very slow and cumbersome.
Have u rang Customer services and let them know? maybe they can send a packet to activate sms. |

Must have bought my phone the same day as you I take it you had a Nokia before? I had the 7110, and after 2 years of txting on that, it's an absolute nightmare on the T68. It's just that everything's in the wrong place. I think it'll be OK when I get used to it though. By the way, if you cancel in the middle of a message and it disappears, you can find it in unsent. Send it, and it'll let you edit before it's actually sent. Took me ages to work that out.
On the whole an excellent phone. Check out the thread on downloading background images if you want to change yours. |

I had the 7110 as well. Yep, SMSing on that was 100 times better. I have managed to change my backgrounds by linking it via IR to my laptop. It's a much more reliable way to change backgrounds and it lets you d/l a larger file...(i think wap has a max GIF file size of 3k, whereas I have d/l a 9 0r 10k pic via IR) |
