Why is it that on the K700i when on WAP when I try and save a picture using the \"Save Picture\" option I then look in My Pictures to find it as just being an icon?

There isnt any view option. The icon is of a box with a picture frame and musical note coming out of it. I looked at the info of it and distrabution is unlimited and as for file type it said its php? Sometimes i get pictures and sometimes i dont, i really dont understand why i cant view them again after saving to say maybe use as wallpaper or send as an mms.

HAPPY NEW YEAR from the UK. That has happened to me a few times but after a 5 minute wait it shows the picture. Is it very large files that you are trying to view?

I THINK it saves the whole page and not just the pic. Because it shows file type as php.

Its not the hour glass as you mean. There is just a cardboard box icon that just shows and no picture of what i saved. I know what you mean, your on about waiting for the hour glass to load and open the picture. In this case theres nothing to open as its just a cardboard box icon.

wonder if its affected by pics being in some way protected, or ineed a problem with coming of a page before the download has finished.

Check the file type. The K700 only supports JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP and WBMP.

Send it to a computer , and find out.

the image was probably dynamically createdy using PHP that's why the file type is PHP. Try renaming the file and change the extension to .jpg or .gif, etc. see if you can view the image after that.
resistance is futile.

Definitely something wrong with the link from which u r trying to save that img, an file extension itself says that its a php page (probably a frame containing that img) and ur phone is trying to save that entire frame and NOT the image
