F500 and wav as ringtones! |

Hello!
I just found this today. Don't know if it's known, or not, but I am happy.
Vodafone F500 cannot play mp3, nor wav as ringtones. The option for using Wav files is even greyed out.
But, if you go into phonebook, then edit one of the contacts, go to third tab (picture, ringtone and voice commanD) then edit ringtone, and suddenly you have option to set any wav file for incoming call!

If you set a wav file like you mentioned above, will it ring when that person calls. Oh, btw, its the same for K500i except you have mp3 ringtones.

Yes, it will ring.
In phone options, sounds, you can't set wav as ringtone, neither in My items, sounds.
And, yes, I know that with newest firmware from vodafone, you can set drm mp3 as ring tone also. | |
