Siemens the german manufacturer seems to be bland. What do ppl see in siemens? I can understand why ppl use nokias, ///, se, moto, etc... But siemens? All phones have pros and cons. In siemens i know only cons and cons. Is there something special about siemens?

They are very well made, easy to use and reliable. As for bland, thats not altogether true, the SL55 was a classic design wise, and the S55 was a good looking business phone, as are the new ones.

Also they are very well priced, and the SIM free price is amongst the cheapest of all the brands.

david

PS, they are MASSIVE in germany, and in most PAYG markets

Siemens shares the platform of well-featured phones at excellent prices alongside Moto & SE. Plus, they are usually also very reliable. Bland? Check out M55, S55, SL55 for starters. Very original. Very captivating :)

siemens provide a lot of value for money, no frills phones.
they have a lot of features, but don't look as good as se or nokia.
the siemens menu is pretty confusing, that's what i kind of hated on those phones.

cheapness, design for surtain kind of people, the people that don't read the specs, just care about there money.

siemens will deside in 2005 what to do with there mobile phone devision.
quit, sell or restructure it fully.

i personally hope that they would quit. they are the 4th best selling brand but they can't make a profit of it. while most other companies can
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

Why the Siemes phones?!
Because: very reliable, better customization, logical menustructure, stable cover, more fps on record, and what can be more important: updating doesn't damage you fw, more patches are available to gain new features for your phone, and last but not least, very much applications are for siemens mobiles.

Why not the Siemens phones?
reliable is the result of few features, lack of innovations and formats (aac, mp3, mpeg4, etc)

Siemens used to be good until 2 yrs ago when they decided they'd make oem phones (a chinese firm makes the phone and siemens puts its name on it). Why?For money That's when they become bland, cheap and lacking the very quality that made them famous.I won't buy anotha 1 until they make 'em themselves again.
