Goto the file manager, select more-> memory status.
Scroll down to the messages option, if it says 0 messages then you need to go back to the service center.
If it doesnt say 0, select it that option, find where the messages are stored and delete them.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !! |

I have now 41MB free, my phone says there are 0 messages. Maybe better idea is buy some logs to SE Client with cable and upload new (or repair this) firmware in home?

@govigov
The K700 has memory specifically allocated for SMS messages, it doesn't utilise the 41 MB internal memory for storing SMS messages, much to many users disappointment!

You could try upgrading your firmware at home, but I would suggest that you go back to the service centre first. If your K700 is indeed branded by T-Mobile it may very well be the case that you cannot upgrade your firmware with firmware, which hasn't been approved by T-Mobile for use on their handsets. If this is the case you will need to have your K700 debranded in order to utilise non-T-Mobile firmware.

I wan't to debrand my phone first, then upload new firmware (SE Client + T28 cable). Dou You think it's good idea? If then it runs? I don't want crap without sms-ing option ;/. BTW - Can i upload new fw without full battery? Or it doesn't matter?

You should be able to debrand your K700 easily enough, there are a few threads discussing debranding, you might want to have a look at them.
I don't think it matters if you have a full battery or not, a slong as your K700 has enough power to complete the process.
