Anyone know how to get hold of these Sony Ericsson java programs for the V800? There doesn't seem to be any way to download them via WAP from the SE Fun & Downloads page, even though they are clearly listed as available for the V800 on the standard browser page (at Sony Ericsson > Fun & Downloads> Sofware>Free Applications). (The V800 is mysteriously not listed a supported phone on the WAP page). Perhaps someone would be cool enough to email the (presumably tiny) files to me? If so, I can be reached at:- cameronp1nspmpls@mac.com
(Remove 'nspmpls' before using). Thanks in anticipation?

I would but...errr...I haven't actually got a V800. I have a K700i, which has the same resolution as the V800, but those two apps aren't available for it for some odd reason. But the V800 versions will work fine on the K700 because they're java

Thanks mate. But have you tried going to the sonyericsson/fun website on your V800 (ie via WAP or 3G)? In theory you should be able to download both apps from the software section there. They may even be on one of he CDs you got with the phone

Have a look at the Z1010 page on the wap page, see if they're there.

Those apps are certainly not on the CD that came with my V800 (nor are any other phone applications for that matter)

I think I tried that, with no luck. However, someone has since been kind enough to email K700-compatible versions of both apps to me, so I'm sorted.

Thanks for your help

The world clock and converter are free download from the fun and downloads website. Look under software (listed at the top of the page) and then look under free software under V800. They are there.
