Sending the polys as mms to an email addy is probably the only other way. The T230 doesn't have ir as you know. Is there any other way? Anyone?

Apart from data cable, you can upload to a WAP server & download via WAP. Or send to an email address, then download by accessing your mail via any mobile mail service e.g. Webcab.de. No other apparent means. Receiving it via the built-in mail client would have been an option, but it doesnt seem to support attachments.

The cheapest - in fact, free, way to send ringtones from mobile phone to mobile phone is either via IR Beam or Bluetooth - works like a dream!

Hey,

@fast eddie
What kind of sound is it registered as? If it's got a voice bubble, it's a recording and can't be set as a ringtone. If it's got a music note, then you should be able to just push the right softkey and set it as the ringtone.
