If you have problems using XTND connect (Phone not recognised or interruption with syncronisation) try to update the MDAC drivers to version 2.7

The knowledgebase article Q308368 may be of interest to you forum members.
Go to http://support.microsoft.com and search using this Q308368.
Of particular interest in this statement:
Motorola mobile phones: The following mobile phones may not be able to establish a dial-up networking connection over the computer's IrDA port because of changes in the Windows 2000 and Windows XP IrDA implementation:
Motorola Timeport 250, model T250
Motorola Timeport 260, model T260
Motorola L-Series ("Leap") phones, models L7xxx, L8xxx, and L9xxx |

No I do not have it.
I just read this advice in a german computer magazin where they tested mobile phones and their syncronisation capacities.
In many cases it only worked good after updating the MDAC drivers.
This was the same for nearly all the software for the Siemens, Nokia and Ericsson and motorola phones. |

Had the problem with my T39M and with Palm 505. Downloaded the update and it seems to work fine now. Thank God or Thank Herboan.
