Ok this might work and then again it might not, I got another V800 yesterday and thought I will try and play blind mines buff with Vodafone for a free code. I rang up one of the branches late in the evening..around about 4 or 5pm. I explained to the sales assistant that I had received a replacement phone from the one I originally purchased from there branch and I called up Customer Service for the unlock code but they told me to contact the branch as they have no record of me paying for the unlocking...(I made it sound like I was really annoyed but not at him more at customer service...) The guy just quickly apologised and just asked me for the serial number of the phone and gave me the unlock code in a fe seconds....  saved myself another 20quid there...
So give it a try hopefully VodaJohn wont rat on my little finding...but it worked a good tip is if you standing outside the shop and it looks busy then give them a ring then and I am certain they wont be bothered to start searching for things they probably know will loose them a sale... |
