Welcome to Esato
I'm not sure what you're asking but if it's just whether the K700 works with Bluetooth headsets then YES, of course it does

I don't have my :b: dongle right now, so I can't check, but it might just work... Have you tried it yourself?

why not? there is problably a program for it, i mean i cant be the only one who would find this useful. and it cant bethat hard, you just need to emulate a BT headset |

I have tried to connect from my PC with a TDK BT adapter and Widcomm drivers, to my phone, asking for "Headset" service. The PC BT software tells me the phone does not support this.

Well someone could always write a program for everything, but I don't think the need for this one is that great since you can set up something like it going straight to a bluetooth headset, instead of going through phone then headset. |

Hi... i realize that this thread is kinda dead but i have the kind of the same problem.. i what to use my bluetooth headset with my computer (skype) i can get the sounds from the computer to the headset but i cant get the headset to work as a mic for the computer... you know what i mean?
I connect the headset with the headset profile and then choose "bluetooth audio" in the sound setup (control panel) and that works with outgoing sound but not with recrding (mic).. any suggestions? |

This is not possible with the bluetooth. Lets see how this can work...
When you use the Headset profile of the K700i it uses phone built-in bluetooth to transfer the sound from the phone to other Headset.
Here as you are trying to connect to PC the PC acts as Headset through its Bluetooth dongle. So the sound can only be transfered between the phone bluetooth and the PC bluetooth. So the sound cannot be heard on the Handsfree or the K700i speaker.
Already the sound is getting used or are in use so there is no way you can get it split and get it in speaker.
I hope I am not confusing you. But the main thing is it is not possible through any of the programs. The hardware does not support for this type of connection. |

I know it's abit off topic but... I would like to use a bluetooth headset as PC mic for voice recognition software such as Dragon's Naturally Speaking, any chance this can work? Any suggestion welcomed.

hello, welcome to esato.
As for your ques, yes it is very much possible to use the BT handset as a mic and earphone for the computer. All you need the right set of drivers and programs. These depend on the BT interface device which is connected to your computer.
If you can detail on the device you're using on the computer and the software used, then you can get help
