what do u think about the headset? is it worth the money? how is the sound quality? |

i bought one last week, for £50 off a friend and i don't think they are very good.
One of the problems i have, i have already posted in this forum.
The other problem i now have is the sound quality.
Some times when i speak loud into the headset, the volume sounds distorted to the person on the other end, the reciever. Also, with some peoples voices, the speaker on the headset will crackle and sound distorted.
So i went to the original place of purchase, cpw, and they said this headset is not very good and is now discontinued. So they are now offering me the Motorola or the Ericsson MBH 20 or the Plantronics one.
Not sure which one to go for

i know abt the problem .. but it really looks cool ..
i will go to  to service mine .. if it still happens .. i will ask them to replace it ..

We got the HBH30 now at CPW so get that instead...exchanging my HBH15 for one...

I heard that the HBH-30 recommends the most recent t68i firmware version R2E006. Is that true? If so, will it work well with earlier versions? I have R2B025. |

i guess the latest version is R2E .. the previous version is R2B ...
here is the HBH15 ..
The HBH-15 Bluetooth headset will be a direct replacement for the older HBH-10 which was released in June last year. Equipped with a new battery, the HBH-15 offers up to 5 hours of talktime and 110 hours on standby--almost twice that of the older headset. At 32g, the HBH-15 weighs about the same as the HBH-10.
The HBH-15 also retains the single-button interface for accepting and ending calls, while full support for voice dial allows the wearer to place a call using a voice command so he can make calls without ever touching the mobile phone.
The new headset, however, sports a sleeker, more stylish design. The black handle clip is now the same gray tone as the earpiece, and no longer protrudes as much.
An Ericsson spokesperson said the HBH-10 headset is not upgradeable to HBH-15. Nor can the HBH headsets work with any other Bluetooth-enabled device that's not an Ericsson.
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology that allows users to connect various devices such as cellphones, printers and handhelds.

Ericsson has released yet another Bluetooth headset, this time without the Lara Croft factor.
The Swedish company's original Bluetooth headset HBH-10 had been popularized by actress Angelina Jolie, who donned the device as heroine Lara Croft in the movie Tomb Raider. The HBH-10 incorporated the Bluetooth chipset, the microphone, speaker and power supply in one elongated piece. The device could be used while clipped on the ear.
A newer version featuring a similar form factor, the HBH-15, was released about a year later.
With the HBH-20, Ericsson makes a departure from that radical look and returns to a more conventional handsfree design. Although Bluetooth allows for wireless communication between compatible devices, Ericsson's latest Bluetooth device will require some wires.
The Bluetooth unit, containing the chipset and battery, is now wired to a earpiece and microphone. The gadget can be used like a normal handsfree kit, except the mobile handset can be tucked 10m away, without a physical connection.
In a press statement, Ericsson suggested that the silver-colored device can be clipped onto a shirt or carried on a necklace. It also comes with interchangeable silver and dark blue covers.
The HBH-20 weighs 26g and measures 68 x 35 x 22 mm, about half the size of a mobile phone. Ericsson claims the HBH-20 will have maximum talktime of 4 hours and standby time of 60 hours.

Hi..... I've got a problem i lost charging cradle of my HBH-15 .... Someone can tell me if is possible to buy it separately from the headset ? or someone can send me a detailed contact scheme than
i'll try to make a "self made cradle" ...hoping that inside cradle there
are wire only ...
