Thanks.

You need bluetooth dongle or 'usb bluetooth adapter'. All the software you get together with it. There are many brands, mine experiences with MSI dongles are positive.

Yep

You will be able to send many things; pictures, ringtones, mp3 files, video files, games.

anyone got any experience with the PCMCIA or card bus slot bluetooth cards?

i fancy a tdk but are they any better than USB dongles?

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Bluetooth, because it has bout 10 meters range, and you don't have to align devices like with IR. In my experience BT is also much faster than IR.

:b: is faster than irda, and doesn't require line of sight, so your connectio won't be broken if you or someone else jostles the phone or picks it up. Otoh, :b: can be tizzicky about keeping the connection open. (At least w/my belkin domgle, but I did put it through the washibg machine once... :ta:

goes for the Belkin 100m.
It is only USD$4 more than the 10m .

Very positive result and is HID supported.
