Hi

I've bought my girlfriend a samsung e700 and heard somewhere that the format it uses is mmf not midi. Is this true??

If it is true does this mean that she won't be able to use her midi tones from her T610?

Are there any problems with the phone that she can expect? I would like to know then I can sort them over christmas!

Thanx very much

type this in
*#8999*8378# --> Test mode

H/W test
Audio Settings
Melody Gain

Then replace 6 by 0, it'll show 12 but it's OK
Press back until main screen
Then press key volume to minimum

take shutter free photos

EDIT: If you want sound back turn key volume to 1 or above and if you want original settings restored, start from the beginning again but change the 0 to a 6.

looks like you know the phone very well!

any tips would be appreciated. I'm not sure if the phone is unlocked but any advice you have would be great!

Is there any known problems that I need to look out for?

Cheers

well to check if its unlocked just just put in a different sim card and see if it works

as for problems.. if you have the t-mobile version, the colour scheme will be predominantly pink!!! you can get rid of this by changing the colour scheme (i changed mine to the blue color scheme). Looks much better IMO.

if you want wallpapers and sum ringtones, go Here

(wallpaper size - 128 x 160)

I cant think of anything else at the moment. i will post back when i do
