What are you trying to do exactly? It doesn't need no extra drivers if it's already installed! Just turn the Z1010's IR on and Windows XP will detect it rightaway. If you don't have Windows XP, you gotta go with the PC Suite's File Manager - Very slow. If you don't have it installed and don't have the CD provided with the device go to mobile action's website and download them from there!

I can't find a reason why it shouldn't work. As you describe it it is either a Windows XP problem or a problem with the phone. Did you try it on other infrared ports/adaptors on other pcs and/or used it with other phones?

@Guy89
MA620-Driver recognises Z-1010 and V800 as well as it still rec's N-5210, me45, sl55, t310 and t68i, with it's ancient installation.
Re to software:
Didn't try MA FoneSuite for 1010, as their BT version for V-800 is full of bugs.
SE Data suite works fine, IF you either uninstall sw for older phone (t68i in my case) or install them simultaneusly BUT run at first SE Sync settings, select Z1010 (and the appropriate SIM if a new one exists) and press OK.
Once upon a time, when I was switching among T65, T68i, T310 using an RS-232 cable and XTND, a tip was to call sync settings even I wanted to do something else. That was forcing the program to replace the "old" device with the "new" one.
Hope it helps
