Hey...

Being an Australian, and used to getting ripped off, I was just wondering how much my fellow mobile users across the globe pay for their GPRS services.

Here in Australia, downloading anything will cost you 2.2c (aud), per KB, this is also usually charged as a separate component to included calls (if a mobile user is on a plan) or is taken from their pre-paid credits.

GPRS used to be free for me (unlimited, no bounds) but now it seems the service provider wised up and put a price tag of $5 per month (unlimited)

I dont use gprs much anyway

GloMobile Nigera's GPRS WAP costs me N700 per mb of data (app. US$5/mb). This is independent of my call charges.

In Serbia using mobtel postpaid gprs (internet and wap access) 0.84usd or 0.75e/ mb. Mms ip charged separately 1 mms is about 20 us cents. I only wish we had flat-rate offered, like in India.

Also wish we had flatrates in South Africa. Right now I'm paying about $1.70/MB... A couple of months ago I used it for free:-(
