Hey all, l have tried lots of solutions. I have an o2 k700i. I live in the UK. I got my settings from the o2 website the o2 active gprs settings, works fine to go on the internet gprs etc But can't send any mms?!

When l try to send MMS it says user barred, l rang O2 and said my account is activated for MMS and everything is fine at their end, what am l doing wrong?

Easy problem to solve my friend.

The user barred problem is caused by your phone trying to use the incorrect internet profile for MMS. This can be fixed by doing the following...

Menu > Messaging > Settings > Picture Msg > Internet Profile > Press Edit > Make sure that O2 MMS (or whatever your MMS profile is called), is selected. As it is most likely that at present another profile is selected.

If that doesn't fix the problem then it means the APN in your settings is incorrect.

The settings are posted many times both here and across the internet & WAP.
Simply search for them & input manually, its not so hard!

If u have a Network branded phone it should originally contain that networks settings (unless they've been deleted) but u can't expect an unbranded phone to contain settings for every Network in the world!!!

The error messaging you're is normally caused by trying to send mail through the incorrect apn.

Menu > Messaging > Settings > Picture Msg > Internet Profile > Press Edit > Make sure that O2 MMS (or whatever your MMS profile is called), is selected. As it is most likely that at present another profile is selected.

Also Menu > Connectivity > Internet Profiles > highlight O2 MMS (or whatever) > press more > settings > connect using should be o2 mms also.

Try it - if you haven't already lost the o2 mms settings.

The settings configurator on sony's site seems to be working fine for me:
